About Us

We’re a brother and sister duo who have a shared love of baking and sports. From our summers on the swim team as children, to the marathons and cycling events we have participated in as adults (not to mention the countless hours we have spent watching baseball, tennis, soccer, and any other athletic events we can find), sports have been a part of our lives all our lives. And, alongside those sporting events, there has always been food. We run with the thought of waffles for breakfast in our minds, bring homemade treats to each other's races, and convene over the kitchen table to watch the Tour de France. To us, good food and great athletes go hand in hand.

Growing up in upstate New York, through years of long-distance conversation between New York and London, and now as we run and ride our bikes through Brooklyn, we have always, and continue to, share in conversation about food - the restaurants we love, the chefs and bakers we admire, the food that makes us happy. And, somewhere along the way, the type of food that we eat as athletes, and the desire to have something non-manufactured and delicious to bring along with us when we train or race.  Something with the strength of whole wheat flours, protein, flaxseed, cane sugar and spice. And so Musette Bakery was born. This is our way of bringing our love of baking and sweet treats in line with our belief that food for athletes can taste good, too. There’s no preservatives or "goo" here, just homemade baked goods that have the added benefits of all the tools to fuel a hardcore athlete. We’d like to share the sweets of our labors with you, and will be showing up at, and competing in, sporting events whenever and wherever we can to help make our dream a reality. Come meet us there, and we'll provide the best tasting fuel in your feedbag.
